Calling Vs Seeing Her In Person… Which One Is Less Awkward If Haven’t Seen Eachother For Months?

Author: So I like this girl but I haven't seen her in like 3 months.
Also I'm on vacation and she's at college. Would it be awkward if I just suddenly appeared at college?

Have you talked to her on the phone in the last three months. It could turn out wonderfully – picture the delighted surprised expression on her face! Or, it could be a nightmare: what if she’s seeing someone else and it’s starting to get romantic? That could be awkward.
I’ve been surprised like this a few times. Sometimes it was wonderful. At other times, it was awkward. While it may spoil the surprise, you can avoid some awkwardness by calling her first and saying, “Hey, I miss you! How are things going … thought I’d come see you, what do you say?”
